CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY REPORTING (CSRD) IS a European regulation around sustainability reporting for companies, applicable as from reporting years 2024 (report publication in 2025) for big, listed companies, and 2025 (publication in 2026) for big, non-listed companies. The main focus of our advisory service is towards this second wave.
The underlying sustainability reporting standard ESRS has been developed by EFRAG in alignment with the major standard setting organizations. Further information.
Is my vehicle ready for retrofit?
Retrofit, or e-Retrofit is a solution to convert a vehicle to an environmental friendly, electric vehicle. Retrofitting is a circular economy activity, extending the lifetime of existing vehicles.

We combine strategic consultancy and project management with deep expertise within specific domains, such as e-mobility.
Sustainable matters is active member of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and proposes services for companies to improve or start their sustainability reporting in line with existing and future European regulations (CSRD, EU Taxonomy).
Retrofit
This service aims to convert traditional combustion engine cars into electric vehicles. It is a new venture and currently in startup mode following a pilot phase together with the university of Brussels VUB, research group MOBI, as part of a student project (April - Sep 2023). The Belgium legal framework has been established in 2023 and this activity should be ready for the next phase in 2024.
